The Ringlet (Aphantopus hyperantus) is a species of butterfly found in Europe and parts of Asia. It belongs to the family Nymphalidae. This butterfly is characterized by its dark brown wings, often with a velvety appearance, and the distinctive eye-like spots (or “ocelli”) on the undersides of its wings. These spots give it its name, as they resemble rings.
